Although it is compulsory for all the bars and restaurants to follow the proper fire safety measures, some do not.

Or, probably due to some carelessness, the bar or the restaurant might not pay as much attention.

However, doing so is extremely necessary as a simple fire can cause a lot of mayhem and destruction to the property. Cases of deaths and severe injuries due to a fire break out in a restaurant or pub have been common.

This is why every public place should have proper fire-extinguishing equipment and safe evacuation paths.

Otherwise, a simple fire in the kitchen or from short-circuit is capable of engulfing the property completely along with claiming the lives of the staff and visitors.

If the place has proper and safe evacuation, people can easily move out of the place and protect themselves from getting injured due to fire.

Recently, Belfast’s popular nightspot, Kremlin, witnessed a breakout of a huge fire. Due to the fire, the put did not open for conventional celebrations.

Although it is not known if anybody has been hurt and to what extent, Kremlin’s owner said that everybody present at the time of fire break out was safely evacuated without any injuries.

The owner also appreciated the quick response by NIFRS and apologized for the inconvenience caused.

The owner further notified that Kremlin would be closed the evening and they would update the public with further details as available.

It was also revealed that whoever had bought tickets for the new year’s eve celebration could claim their refunds from 1st January from Union Street Bar until the next seven days. The entire statement was shared on social media.
