A loving 104-year-old man gave his wife a beautiful rose on Valentine’s Day while he was taken to a hospital.
Doctors at NSW Ambulance took the heartwarming photo as the husband named William was rushed to hospital.
The elderly man was seen strapped to a stretcher but he managed to lean over for his beloved wifef who was sitting on a wheelchair nearby.
NSW Ambulance shared on Facebook: “Our paramedics captured this beautiful moment today.
“Even when he was taken to hospital, 104-year-old William, found the time to spoil his lady for Valentine’s Day.
“Love has no limits.”
The Facebook post gained more than 10,000 likes with many internet users amazed at the couple’s commitment to their relationship and romance even after decades.
One woman commented: “Aww this is so sweet. They could teach hubbies these days a thing or two.”
Another wrote: “Oh this makes my heart super happy that’s and endless love right there.”
A third added: “Today is my 45th wedding anniversary, I wish we could have as many as this beautiful couple, God bless them!!!”
Someone else added: “Real love does exist and that’s gold. A precious and priceless moments for sure.”
