Vacations are a great time to relax your mind as well as your body.
While the regular hectic life can be troublesome and stressful, a vacation is a perfect time to throw all that mess out and have some good time.
When it comes to relaxing the body, massage is the one thing that comes to the mind. People visiting countries like Thailand must have had experienced the same because of the extremely low prices of massages and beauty treatments. But it is important to get complete information about what are you getting yourself into. This couple from Australia did not take attention to find what they were getting themselves into.
Candise Raison and her husband Matthew went to Bali to have a relaxing vacation. Their time was going perfectly fine when on the 6th day; Matthew started feeling pain in his back.
Candise then decided to take a massage for both of them. They were too tired to go out of their room so they called the masseuse to the room itself. They wanted the massage to be nice and relaxing but something else came out of it.
The next day when Matthew woke up, his back was covered with bloody stripes starting from the back of his neck to the end of his spine. The couple was extremely shocked but later realized the reason for the same.
Before massaging Matthew, the masseuse asked Candise if he would like to bring out his inner dragon. The couple was confused but she asked her to do whatever she wants and just give Matthew a very relaxing massage.
The masseuse used a coin and kept rubbing it on his back. That was the reason for all those stripes on his back.
It was an old tradition trick that sucks the pain and stress out of the muscles but later leaves bloody stripes on the back.
They both laughed when they realized what it was because of.
The coin didn’t break the skin and 5 days after the massage, the bloody marks disappeared.
Although it worked out fine for him, we should always take care of what we order.
