Katie Coelho (33) rushed to the hospital located in Danbury, Connecticut, at 3:00 am to see her husband, but it was too late.
Jon, her husband, who for the last month, was being treated for the coronavirus had died due to cardiac arrest brought by the virus. And, Jon was merely 32-year old.
Heartbroken and distraught, Katie collected her husband’s belongings that included his phone. She opened his phone to save his and their two children’s pictures. However, what she found made her heart skip a beat; there was a note by Jon.
It read that he loves the family with all his heart and that they have given him the best life he could have ever asked for. The note further added that he feels so lucky and blessed to be her husband and father to Penny and Braedyn.
Jon said that Katie is the most beautiful and nurturing person he has ever come across. She is truly one of a kind and encouraged her to live her life with the same happiness and passion that made him fall in love with her
. He concluded by saying that seeing her be the best mom to their kids is the greatest thing he has experienced.
Katie was shocked to find the note, which apparently he wrote weeks before he was intubated. Katie in an interview said that he was fighting for his life for the past month, but up until the last moment he wanted to ensure that she and the kids are doing okay.
Jon knew he had something to say to her because they have not spoken with each other for a long time.
Katie and Jon met at Western Connecticut State Univerity as students. They started out as good friends before dating, and in 2013 the couple got married.
They also have two children Penelope, ten months, and Braedyn, two years old. Katie suffered two miscarriages and finally went for IVF to build the family. Jon was the only breadwinner in the family as Katie looked after the kids for full-time.
