You never know what might happen in your life. Hence, it is important to make sure that you are safe from all sorts of hazards, be it indoors or outdoors.
Daily, we come across incidents and mishaps that even claim lives. Recently, a heart-wrenching incident shook everyone when the two-year-old girl died. The girl was crushed beneath the ice sculpture at the Christmas market near Luxembourg.
Around 8 pm local time, the toddler was struck by a piece of ice that fell from the ice sculpture. People in the market later confirmed that the ice statue suddenly broke down and shattered into pieces, and the girl was struck with one piece.
According to police reports, the statue collapsed and unfortunately came over the little girl. Irrespective of all the efforts to save the girl’s life, her death was reported in the morning. But, it is stated that the girl died in the ambulance itself.
The child was extremely injured by the ice piece and lost her life in the ambulance.
The witnesses stated in grief that the girl’s family was left in distraught as they couldn’t believe everything happened in front of their eyes, and they couldn’t do anything about it.
Right after the unfateful incidents, the market was cleared by the police, and the scene was taken under forensic investigation. Local police detectives have deployed a full-fledged investigation to find the actual cause of the incident.
The main reason for the investigation is to find whether it was a natural accident or there was any pre-planned motive behind which the little girl fell bait.
According to reports, all the Christmas celebrations in the town has been canceled as to show respect to the girl’s death and grieve with the family who lost their baby girl.
