Global tension is rising up in the region of Gulf of Oman and for the same purpose, the media announced that India has sent their warships and is taking out aerial surveillance in the region for security purposes.
The navy said in their statement “India has sent out INS Sunayna and INS Chennai to undertake the security operation in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.”
President of the US, Donald Trump made a comment saying, “Iran should not have taken the step. They should not have shot down the US drone that was flying over the international waters.”
In return to this Iran said that they destroyed the drone because it had violated Iran’s air corridor by making an illegal entry.
Washington had earlier claimed that it was Iran that had attacked the Strait of Hormuz area. The area lies in the between of the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman and most of the oil of the world is passed through this area.
According to PTI, India’s navy said that they have set air surveillance in the region to keep a check on the security.
Indian ambassadors said to Washington back in the month of May that because Iran has been constantly becoming a threat to the US, they have cut their ties with the nation and has stopped all the oil import from Iran.
The dispute between Iran and US has been going on for a while and as India has their ties with the US and also because India is keeping up their motto of world peace, they are going against Iran.
Although the warships have been sent to the region, for now, there are no estimates of a war or an attack from India. The navy has confirmed as off now that the ships are their only for the purpose of security.
