In recent news, a Florida nurse, 55, choked an Uber driver in an unprecedented attack and proceeded to bite into his neck, leaving a scar on his skin.
Uber driver Michael Hassey Jr, 22, had picked up Michele Stilwell near Tampa. He tells sources that she fell asleep in his car, but out of nowhere, pushed herself forward as she starts to choke him with both of her hands wrapped around his neck.
In an attempt to escape, Stilwell bit “deeply” into his neck, proceeding to scratch his chest.
In the arrest report given by the police, she “continued to bite, strangle, and claw at the victim, who was unable to defend himself.”
The neighbors of the culprit says that it was not like her to act in such a way and that it was “out of character.” In the report, police officers checked a box that indicated that Stilwell was under the influence of alcohol and left it as is without a further explanation.
In Hassey’s interview about the horrible incident, he said he picked Stilwell up after being called by a group of younger women who claimed she was their mother. For the most part, Stilwell was asleep for the ride until she got up and started to scream, “My daughter!”
The culprit then started to attack the Uber driver, cursing at him and slapping him in the face. Out of nowhere, she sinks her teeth into his neck “like a pitbull,” followed by knocking the driver’s phone out of his hand as he attempted to inform the police.
He says that the incident was “emotionally traumatizing” and is currently seeking a psychologist. He also did not fight back because “I have two sisters and I was raised to never put my hands on a female.”
Luckily, a nearby civilian heard his cries and pulled the woman off of him, reaching out to Uber about the incident but was left with no response. He is also working with law enforcement during this investigation.
Stilwell is a registered nurse and has been arrested for aggravated battery and tampering with a witness, released on a $15,000 bond.
