Piers Morgan has once again blasted Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after suffering a backlash and quitting his job at ITV’s Good Morning Britain.
Shortly after the royal couple’s bombshell CBS interview, Morgan voiced his doubts about the Duchess’s allegations as he refused to believe they suffered racist comments and mental health issues while in Palace.
Following a backlash and thousands of complaints, the British broadcaster decided to walk out of GMB rather than apologize for disbelieving Meghan and Harry.
Now, the controversial 55-year-old TV star once again doubled down on his opinion of the formerly-royal couple as he called for people to stand up for their Queen.
“There’s a very deliberate & malicious campaign being perpetrated by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to smear, defame and trash Britain, our Monarchy & the Royal Family as a bunch of heartless racists. It’s disgusting,” Morgan wrote as he took aim at Meghan and Harry.
“Time to stand up for our Queen.”
Shortly after, the renowned critic also blasted the ‘woke’ mob as he vowed to fight back against “shamefully race-baiting hypocrites.”
“Memo to all high-profile, insufferably woke, unctuously virtue-signalling, shamefully race-baiting hypocrites: I’m watching, and I will retaliate,” Morgan tweeted.
Prior to his most recent attack on Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah, the 55-year-old challenged CNN’s Don Lemon as he called him out for allegedly suggesting that he is racist.
“Hi @donlemon – are you suggesting in this segment that I am racist because I don’t believe Meghan Markle’s bullsh*t?” Morgan wrote as he shared a CNN Tonight clip in which Don Lemon discussed Sharon Osbourne’s support for the British broadcaster and his “controversial comments” about Meghan and Harry.
“If so, do you have any evidence to support my ‘racism’ towards Ms Markle? If not, would you like to apologise for such a shameful smear against a former colleague?”
