Iranian Hulk has announced that he will make his mixed martial arts debut this year against a Brazilian opponent.
Sajad Gharibi – a 390-pound bodybuilder who is also known as the Persian Hercules – announced in January that he intended to move into MMA.
Gharibi, who stands at 6’2″ tall and weighs 390 pounds – wrote on Instagram in January:
‘Be brave and Invite me to fight. rather than hiding behind your sponsors, I am ready to fight you, show me what you’ve got to say in the ring’
Last week, he announced that he will fight against a Brazilian rival.
He wrote: ‘So I’m finally accepting my first professional fight from a Brazilian fighter before 2020.’
Gharibi didn’t reveal the name of his opponent but it is believed that it could be 29-year-old Romario dos Santos Alves, who is also known as the Brazilian Hulk.
Meanwhile, UFC star Brian Ortega has said that he would smash “Iranian Hulk” Sajad Gharibi if they clashed in the Octagon.
“I would just gas him out, p*** him off,” Ortega told TMZ Sports.
“Of course, you’re gonna see me just get mauled up like a damn little chihuahua in the beginning. But just when I ride that wave out, it’s a done deal man. He’ll gas out and he’ll be mine.”
