Israel Folau Suggests Bushfires Are A Punishment From God For Legalizing Same Gender Marriage And Abortion In Australia


Israel Folauis an Australian professional rugby league footballer.

Folau’s recently leaked video, where he can be seen making a controversial statement regarding current bushfires in Australia.

He claimed that these bushfires and damage caused by these bushfires are God’s punishment to Australia for legalizing same-sex marriage and abortion.

God-fearing rugby player had his $4million Rugby Australia contract rejected over such homophobic social media posts and statements.

He was recently filmed at the Church of Jesus Christ in Kenthurst Sydney’s north-west, where he was delivering his sermon. He said, “They have legalized same-sex marriage…Going against the laws that God says”. This video was uploaded on Facebook by The Truth of Jesus Christ Church.

Moreover, Folau pointed out that Australia has made it legal to murder and kill unborn children (by declaring abortion legal) and they think that it is OK. According to him, these rapid bushfires and droughts are not merely a coincidence.

This is God’s punishment to Australia and he thinks that Australia needs to repent. During his speech at Church, he said, “God is speaking to us. Speaking to you to repent and to turn away from this.”

According to Folau, this generation is full of arrogance and pride and people think that same-sex marriage and abortion are “good”, but this is evil in the eyes of God.

He suggested this is to blame for Australia’s bushfire crisis. After sharing his views on social media back in May, where he said that homosexuals were going to hell unless they repent, his contract was torn up by Rugby Australia

. Interestingly. Folau is the first Australian athlete who was thrown out for expressing his religious ideas. However, he is suing Rugby Australia for this and seeking $10million in damages.

He has no regrets over his infamous Instagram post during a conference hosted by the Australian Christian Lobby. He also spoke against the gender-change trend among young adults, who are merely 16 or above. He claims that these are all devil’s ideas, and the government is opting these ideas to damage society in an evil way.
