Ivanka Trump traveled to the Middle East to promote her women’s economic empowerment initiative and stopped at a US Air Base in Doha, Qatar to thank soldiers for their service.
“It was an honor to visit Al-Udeid Air Base, the largest U.S. military installation in the Middle East, to thank the brave men and women who keep America safe,” she wrote on social media alongside the pictures of her visit.
“Aim High, Fly-Fight-Win! God bless you and Merry Christmas!”

Journalists interrogated other politicians and high ranking personalities at the event, Ivanka only answered questions asked to her by a member of Trump’s administration, according to Buzzfeed Editor in Chief Ben Smith.
‘Ivanka being interviewed by *State Dept PR person*, a former Fox News contributor, at the #DohaForum. Never quite seen anything like it,’ Smith tweeted.
‘Other, higher ranking figures, including the Malaysian PM and Turkish foreign minister, did tough interviews with journalists.’
One of the easy questions Ivanka was asked was: ‘You did something so important with the president,’ putting women’s issues in national security strategy. ‘Tell me more about that.’
