Lo and Shakira took the stage for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Apart from J-L’s performance, it is her body that grabbed the attention of everyone. The star definitely didn’t disappoint.
Her performances were amazing, but the outfit was just fabulous. The black leather number that showed off her arms, side abs, upper thighs, and butt, as well as the practically-naked mirrored bodysuit she wore after that—showed her fitness routine. Her figure showed how aware she is about her fitness.
The star’s go-to fitness buddy/fiancé is A-Rod, and both constantly post and talk about their exercise and diet habits on social media and during interviews.
J.Lo is a big fan of TruFusion. The studio is known for heated workouts with power, yin, aerial or vinyasa yoga, battle ropes, boxing, boot camp, cycling, kettlebells, barre, Pilates, and TRX, all on the schedule.
J.Lo has shared on social that she mostly focuses on a trio of muscle groups in her workouts. J.Lo even posted an Instagram story of her pre-show prep workout which shows how she works the three b’s: biceps, back, and booty. She also hits both arms together with high cable curls.
Her trainer told O, The Oprah Magazine that J.Lo’s typical core workout begins with a set of 50 hanging abs raises, 50 rope crunches, and 50 incline sit-ups with a 45-pound plate.
It is definitely not easy, but it’s nothing compared to her pole dancing training for Hustlers. J.Lo said, “This was definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever done physically.” The superstar worked with the film’s lead choreographer Johanna Sapakie, and he trained on a pole installed in her own living room.
One of her trainers, David Kirsch, told People in 2017: “She’s genetically blessed, she’s physically gifted with an incredible amount of physical energy, but also this beautiful amount of mental and emotional energy. She’s very connected to her body, and she’s got crazy discipline.”
