Our companions good or bad are revealed when we suffer hardships.
The same thing revealed upon Jake when he was 2 years old. Jake is a Golden Retriever dog.
His vision was lost and thus it was revealed upon him that he has a true companion in the shape of Addie.
Addie was his roommate and helped Jake in his tough time when he lost his vision.
Addie made Jake used to with his new life and helped her as a guide.
She was there with Jack in his hard times as a true friend.
The owner of Jack told that they brought Jack when their Molly passed away and Addie was added to their family after Wrigley’s death and they both were golden in color
When Jake turned two, they noticed that he was not able to produce tears which caused many problems.
They tried and tested a lot of medicines as prescribed by their vet eye specialist but there was no improvement.
Then they were recommended to remove Jake’s eyes or kill him because eyes were continuously causing him harm and were deteriorated badly.
As Jake had already suffered much so both the option seemed deadly. However, they consulted owners who kept blind dogs.
They were informed by the vet that smelling and the hearing sense of dogs come first while the seeing comes at number third, so to smell and hear are more important.
They told them how their dogs are living happily without eyes. So, after being satisfied with the reasons they decided to remove the eyes of Jake.
They were happy to see Jake wagging his tail as if his pain was gone.
He was provided with ease and comfort during his adjustment period.
Addie helped him a lot as she wore a little bell around her neck and he used to track her while Jack followed the smell and sound of Addie.
They were happy to see Jack’s recovery and thanked the people who helped them and provided them with some valuable decisions. Addie and Jack, however, share a good time.
