Most of us would give almost anything just to be able to have millions of dollars in the bank and a lavish mansion to live in. But celebrity Jason “Wee Man” Acuna appears to be taking the opposite tack. The former Jackass star now calls a van home and he recently gave fans a glimpse inside his new digs.

As a professional skater and actor, the 45-year-old Wee Man was part of the MTV stunt show since 2000. He showed Van Talk around his van in its current location in California.

Last September, the 4 ft 0.5 in actor sold his home in Hermosa Beach for $2.37 million, trading in his sprawling mansion for a 4×4 Mercedes Sprinter 144′ wheelbase van, one that he flew all the way to Arkansas to buy.

In the video, he said: “Sold the house, sold the farm, this is it.”

Wee Man admits in the clip that he grew tired of the glamorous lifestyle. And his new motor home, which he named The Beast because of its “666” license plate, encapsulates the “going back to basics” theme that he’s been looking for.

As he showed around his home, it looks like a tight fit but that’s really no problem for the diminutive actor.

Gesturing towards the stainless steel shower with toilette, he explains: “This is tiki floor. Shower up and clean whatever you did earlier.”

He then gives a tour where people can see the electric stove, fridge, and sink in the kitchen area. It features some art from friends as well as his pick of scissors and knives to prepare his “tons of Asada ready to go.” While his co-stars may dine on the finest cuisine, Acuna’s pantry is filled with bags of flour tortillas.

Acuna has an obvious love of Mexican food. In fact, he had invested in Chronic Tacos in 2010 although it closed in Redondo beach in February 2018. However, he reopened a branch in Long Beach where the video was taken.

Next on the tour was his sleeping area and he even unfolded his jack knife bed, a place that’s comfy enough for him.

The cellphone hanging on a clip serves as his “entertainment center.”

He even jokingly says, “And if I wanted to I could have it in stereo connected to my Bose speaker over here and it’s full surround sound.”

He laughs as he adds: “I could have it in my living room or in my bedroom.”

The AC and heater unit are powered by a combination of drip diesel and solar panels fitted on his roof.

He then pulls out a rope from a box compartment and starts skipping while saying, “Every good house has a gym.”

Acuna has bought the van from an architect named Ron just four days after he found it and made an offer.

When he went to pick it up, he stayed at the house of former cast mate Preston Lacy in Missouri. He first tested out the van for one night in Lacy’s driveway.

The next day, he met up with BMX-riding Jackass star Matt Hoffman and they went skydiving soon after.

As for the reason for the change in lifestyle, he said: “I realize the more s**t you have the more issues you have. I wanted to be on the road. I love traveling. I needed a change in my life. I straight said f**k it. I’m gonna get a van, I’m gonna live in it. I’m gonna do what I want.”
