A man from New Jersey was announced the Mega Millions Jackpot winner and won $273 million jackpot.

Mike Weirsky won $273 million jackpot this week but his ex-wife Eileen Murray said she still doesn’t regret leaving him and not even $273 million jackpot can buy back her love.

Though the actual reason for their split is unknown, Murray claimed Weirsky had been unemployed for several years.

Murray told the New York Post:

‘He’s not appealing to me all of a sudden because he has this money. I’m not going after anything. I have morals. I know what I’ve worked for and it’s everything that I have.’

‘Think about it. How long did I work? How long did I support him? I had to give him a lot of money in the divorce,’

‘You tell me what’s the moral thing to do.’

Murray ended their marriage of 15 years in October and had to pay Weirsky a large sum of money in the divorce. She still pays him spousal support income.

After winning the jackpot, Weirsky said in a press conference that his ex-wife had called him.

However, Murray denied calling him. She said:

‘He’ll think I’m there with my hand out and I have no intention to do that. I truly wish him well…though I know he doesn’t believe that. I want him to surround himself with good people. I don’t think anybody should be taken advantage of.’
