Japan’s New Emperor has Vowed to Devote Himself to Peace


Yes, there are very few countries in the world that are left with the culture of prince ruling them but when we look at Japan, the same is still there, the only difference is that the emperor is ruling their hearts.

Emperor Naruhito is Japan’s new emperor and the man just inherited the throne, the sacred sword, and al the auspicious jewels that were destined to come his way as he is the successor.

The new inherited emperor took his pledge in his very first public address on Wednesday. In the address, he vowed that he would devote himself to joy and peace and in sharing the sorrows of and with people.

Naruhito is the first ever prince who has an abroad degree. He was the first born after the defeat of Japan in World War 2.

In his address, the new emperor said: “When I came here and I think of the responsibility that I have taken up, I am filled with the sense of solemnity.”

Naruhito’s father was a man who was respected by the people and who was loved by the people because he was devoted.

The man had devoted himself to making the nation a better and a happier place for the people and he was always ready to share their joy and sorrow.

Naruhito being his son and his successor is expected to do the same and the prince has vowed that he will follow the path of his father.

Although the constitution of the nation has taken away the power from the emperor he still is doing to fulfill his responsibility as the symbol of the nation.

He said, “I will always have my people in my mind and I will seek for every chance I can get to stand up with and by them.”

He added, “I wish for the happiness and well being of the people of the nation as well as the peace in the world.”
