When Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) appeared on BBC’s The Graham Norton Show in London last week, her costar Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) surprised her on the show to say hello.
And it is not the first reunion after their hit HBO show.
Momoa, 40, said he never missed a chance to meet Clarke, 33, whenever he’s in the U.K. (She lives in London, while Momoa based in Los Angeles.)
“Every time I come to England, I call [her],” he said.
The reunion of both the actors continued the next day when Clarke celebrated her birthday with friends and family on Friday evening.
Momoa wasn’t the only Thrones star who attends the party. On Saturday, Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in the show was also seen in the picture posted by Clarke.
“Reunions never looked this hairy,” the actress jokingly captioned the image of Momoa wrapping his arms around Clarke and Harington, 32.
“anyexcuseforamomoasandwich #birthdaybonanzaparttwo,” she added.
The final season of Game of Thrones came this year and got the nominations in 2019 Emmy Awards. The show became night’s most-nominated show with 32 nods and won an award for outstanding drama series.
Clarke played the role of Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, who was married to Momoa’s character Khal Drogo before link up with Harington’s Jon Snow in the last season.
Earlier, Clarke and Momoa have reunited to celebrate the birthday of Momoa’s friend. She helped him in throwing a surprise party for her friend in July.
Clarke posted a picture with Momoa along with a sweet message on Instagram at the time. She captioned the photo, “With you, I feel 2 feet small…HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY BABY.”
In the show, Momoa and Clarke have spent little time on screen together because of his death in the early stages of the series, but they share close friendship off-screen throughout the years.
