As we can obviously conclude from the numbers, it is the most expensive home in the Los Angeles area.

Mr. Lachlan Murdoch had purchased the Chartwell Estate in Bel Air for $150m.

The Estate has 9.4 acres and seems to have been built in 1937 at the initial Warner Bros studio and has huge terraces and other amenities starting from Gardens to the Golf Course.

The Estate is also listed in the legendary actors of the Beverly Hills, and people say that no residence has ever surpassed the size and the Grand nature of this mansion.

It is still not clear if Mr. Bezos will be using the Estate as his primary residence, and on the same note, he has also purchased undeveloped land in Los Angeles, which belongs to the Estate of the late co-founder of the Microsoft Paul Allen.

He has also made another purchase of three different departments in an 80 million deal in New York recently.
