Cosmetic entrepreneur Jeffree Star addressed the ‘hilarious’ rumor that he is romantically linked with Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West.
Jeffree, 35, spoke with E! News and clarified that the rumors of a romance with Kanye are not true.
The rumor emerged amid Kanye’s divorce from Kim Kardashian.
“I think the rumors are funny, they’re hilarious,” Jeffree said. “I think the coincidence is crazy when you live in Hidden Hills, two miles away from him and then I’ve always loved Wyoming and I was obviously aware that they had been going there a lot.”
The famous YouTuber made it clear that the Grammy-winning artist is not his type.
“I really did mean when I say I really do like tall men,” Jeffree said. “I think Kanye‘s music is amazing, but he’s definitely not for me.”
The rumor came after TikTok personality Ava Louise implied that a romance has sparked between Kanye and Jeffree during a time that they are both happened to be in Wyoming.
Ava said that she did not have any ‘concrete evidence’ to confirm the romantic affair, but she said that the information came from an anonymous entertainment attorney she spoke with.
“Kanye’s been hooking up with a very famous beauty guru, male beauty guru, a lot of people in the scene have known for a while,” Ava said. “A lot of people in the scene have known for a while.”
Jeffree said he ‘had no idea that a girl that was on TikTok made it up until recently, so that was a shocker.’
Jeffree then told E! News he was not dating as he is still recovering from an April car crash in Wyoming.
“I’m honestly, after the accident, really focused on myself, but there’ll be some big announcements that I have for the world,” Jeffree explained. “I had a lot of time to rest and really reflect and had some big life moments that I’m not ready to share yet, but soon.”
In January, Jeffree had first denied the Kanye rumors in a YouTube clip titled Addressing The Kanye Situation.
“This is so weird,” Jeffree said. “This is so stupid. Let me just say this one time. I like very tall men.”
