After much anticipation and rumors, Jenifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney have tied the knot in a closed affair at Rhode Island.
PEOPLE confirmed that Oscar-winning actor (29) and the international art dealer (34) are now officially married.
According to sources, the event was a closed affair, and nobody had the information regarding the wedding. PEOPLE reported that Jenifer wore Dior dress on her d-day.
The wedding reception had over 150 closed guests. The celebrities from the industry included Amy Schumer, Adele, Emma Stone, Ashley Olson, and Kris Jenner.
The wedding took place at the exotic Belcourt of Newport. It is a mansion in Newport, Rhode Island.
Becourt is an ancient mansion designed in 1894 by the Richard Morris Hunt, an America architect. The mansion was the major highlight of the entire wedding.
It was inspired by Louis XIII’s lodge at Versailles. Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Cameron Diaz, Sienna Miller were spotted at the rehearsal dinner where the couple hosted clambake.
In September, the paparazzi spotted the couple outside a marriage bureau. Lawrence smiled when she was seen with Cooke.
The rumors of their relationship have been doing rounds since June 2018.
A source closed to the actress said that both were engaged in February when she was spotted wearing massive at one of the French restaurants in New York.
There have been instances where Lawrence was spotted praising Maroney. In one of her interviews, Jenifer said that Cooke is the greatest human she has ever met.
When confronted with her about her marriage, Jenifer said that she never planned for marriage, but Cooke is one person with whom she felt like settling.
She further added that she is honored to become a Maroney and start an exciting journey with the love of her life. Marooney is her best friend that she wants to book for the rest of her life.
