Jennifer Lopez wore her famous 2000 Grammy Awards Versace green gown while hosting Saturday Night Live at the Rockefeller Center’s Studio 8H in New York City.
The singer, 50, repeated the most famous dress and the moment became iconic.
During the show performances, Jennifer walked down and flaunted her perfect figure in the jungle print floor-length dress. The performances include also DaBaby as the musical guest.
Lopez first came in a three-piece black tuxedo and bow-tie and looked back at her successful year.
She started the night with a super sweet monologue, saying: This year, I gotta be honest, I have been so blessed. First off, I got what every girl from the Bronx dreamed of: proposed to by a Yankee.’
‘I had the biggest movie opening that I’ve ever had, that included a lap dance from Cardi B. I went on a sold-out tour, and I slew the MET Gala…I am about to perform in the Super Bowl halftime show.’
‘I walked the runway in Milan for the first time wearing a dress I wore 20 years ago. Some people said I look better now than I did then, and I’m not bragging, that’s just gossip. And what else? Oh yea, I had a big birthday. I turned 50!’
In the final moments of the song, she reappeared in the Versace gown.
The songstress ended with blessings by mentioning she celebrated her big 50th birthday this year.
After adding, ‘The best is yet to come,’ the Bronx native broke out into a version of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town with the help of The Rockettes.
In one of the standout sketches, Kenan Thompson played Beeker Cheeks, host of HGTV’s Surprise Home Makeover Holiday Edition. Lopez and SNL castmember Mickey Day played a married couple, Jaclyn and Matt, winners of the surprise home makeover.
