While giving an interview to one of the big media outlets, the husband and wife told that they had been working on the idea since September 2019.

All they had was one question in their mind,  “What is that we can do to just leave an impact?”

Tabitha said, “This is the biggest stage in the world and I think every little girl looks at the Super Bowl their whole life and dreams of touching that stage and performing, so we wanted it to really count and mean something.”

When asked about the showing of the Puerto Rican flag, the choreographer explained that waving the flag was to honor her Puerto Rican heritage and inspiring other people at home to find their voice.

She further added, “A voice as a woman, as a Latino, as a mom – inspiring women of the next generation to get loud.”

Those watching the Superbowl Halftime show at home noticed a moment near the end of Lopez’s show in which her friend, Emme Maribel Muñiz, joined her with other kids and started singing “Let’s Get Loud” from inside the decorated cages.
