Jennifer Lopez has opened up about her much-hyped wedding to Entertainment Tonight when she appeared at the screening event of her latest flick, Hustlers.
Lopez initially tried to dodge questions targeted at her marriage, by acting naive.
Alex Rodriguez, a formal MLB player, dropped a subtle hint about his wedding with Jennifer Lopez by saying that it is “gonna be a long flight” to reach the wedding location.
However, talking to ET, Jennifer said that she “don’t know yet” and joked about Alex’s statement, saying her fiancé is “just saying things.”
Lopez said of her marriage: “We’re talking about it, but we don’t have any firm plans. We’re talking about a lot of places but I don’t know yet,” adding that they have not even decided a date yet.
One thing that can be said with one hundred per cent surety at this time is that Lopez’s 11-year-old son Maximillian “Max” David will play an active role in his mother’s marriage.
Lopez has also confirmed that it will be Max who’ll walk her down the aisle on her big day.
Max has a twin sister named Emme Maribel, and both of them are the kids of Lopez’s ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
According to People, Jennifer’s four kids will “definitely” be a part of her marriage, playing a substantial role.
A source close to Lopez said of the couple: “For them both, they are still all about their family with the four kids. Their initial strong attraction for each other would have quickly faded if they had not been able to come together as a family.
“Their kids all accepted each other and got along from the beginning.”
Shedding light on how the two families are so tightly knit together, the source said: “It’s always tricky when you merge families, but Jennifer and Alex did a great job from the start.
“The kids are amazing together. And they have wanted Jennifer and Alex to get married for a long time. They will all definitely be a huge part of the wedding.”
Although, according to the source, “there were talks about an engagement from early on,” Jennifer “realized that she wanted to live more in the moment” and “enjoy what they have together with the kids.”
The couple made their relationship official by posting engagement pics in which Jennifer was seen wearing a stunning diamond ring while Alex held her hand.
“She said yes,” Rodriguez captioned the image. Jennifer captioned the same pic with black heart emojis and no words.
