Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have sold out their house in Arkansas and earned a huge profit.
The reality stars have sold their Arkansas home, known as the Baylor Mansion, for $1.53 million. The longtime house-flippers purchased the home in 2014 for just $230,000, profiting over $1 million on the sale, less the cost of the renovation.

The house returned on the market for $1.38 million with full furnishings. This time it sold out in mid-February above the listing price, the sale included an additional plot of land next door.
A representative for the couple told PEOPLE in May 2019 that they have been purchasing and selling homes for some time. Jim Bob’s mom is a retired real estate agent for years, they turned flipping homes into family projects.
“They’ve always looked for opportunities where they could improve something,” the representative said. “They just like flipping houses. They like the construction business, the remodel, and seeing something go from bad to good — from unused to being attractive for others.”
It was built in 1969, the home was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic roundhouse, according to the original listing. The first floor is round with a concrete wall around it, and was “supposedly built to withstand a nuclear attack.”
They kept some of the house’s original features, like slate tile floors and walnut ceilings and doors. Space has been largely updated. It seems that the Duggars have also added extra bathrooms, as the original 2014 listing said the home featured only four.
The four kitchens have been completely redesigned with new granite countertops and backsplash, updated electrical, along with new cabinets, plumbing, and light fixtures, custom LED lighting and new appliances.
The master suite is furnished with a new freestanding soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower. The home also owns a screening room and an elevator.
The property is situated on 2.73 acres, and it features a sprawling stone patio above a three-and-a-half car garage. Previously, the patio featured a green outdoor carpet, which the Duggars ripped up for a bare outdoor space.
