We always believe that adults are much smarter and intelligent than young people. They know exactly what they were doing, they were smart and knew how to deal with the world in such a way that we can all benefit and live our best lives.
But, this is not true, many adults, having finished school, are now busy in doing work and paying responsibility for the family, joining the rat race to survive and keep their lives ticking over. They almost forget what they have learned in school. And you will be surprised to know that adults know less about basic math, science, and history than your average 12-year-old.
Jimmy Kimmel recently goes to the streets to find out what people thought about the current plight of the Homo Sapiens, and whether they (we) as a species really deserve to be saved. They could’ve been out for days, interviewing thousands of people to get these select few, catastrophic fails.
These people know less and are too proud to ask for information, so they simply try to ‘fake it till they make it.’ This attitude toward knowledge has become common and it’s sad.
I asked the question, what do you think? Are Homo Sapiens worth saving, or are we really just completely doomed? One of the persons explained with an accidental piece of revealingly insightful commentary: “I don’t know what a homo sapien is. If they’re going extinct, that’s very sad. But at the end of the day, I don’t care.” As she was honest!
