Joe Biden has admitted he wants to see Donald Trump on the day of his inauguration to show the world that America stands united.
As the president-elect said in an interview with CNN, he believes that Trump’s attendance at his inauguration is vital “to demonstrate at the end of this chaos that he’s created that there is peaceful transfer of power.”
While Biden insisted that Trump’s presence, or the lack of it, is of “no personal consequence to me,” he admitted that the country will benefit if the competing sides shake hands and move on.
“I think it would be important only in one sense – not in a personal sense important – in the sense that we are able to demonstrate at the end of this chaos that he’s created that there is peaceful transfer of power, with the competing parties, standing there, shaking hands, and moving on,” Biden said in an interview with Jake Tapper of CNN.
“I really worry about the image we’re presenting to the rest of the world.”
In his interview with CNN, Biden also revealed what one of his first acts as the president of the United States will be.

The plan has already been applauded by NIAID director Dr. Anthony Fauci who has already accepted Joe Biden’s proposal to become his chief medical advisor.
As a part of his promises, Biden also vowed to build “the most diverse cabinet” with “representatives of all folks, Asian Americans, African Americans, Latinos, LGBTQ across the board.”
