EGOT winner John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen recently purchased a $5million home in Los Angeles, only a short distance from their Beverly Hills home, which they bought for $14 million in 2016.
The purchase comes only days after buying a penthouse in Manhattan for $7.9 million.
The 41-year-old refused to let social distancing measures stop him from doing a good deed as he was spotted donating money to a homeless man. He was seen handing a $10 bill to the man on the streets of West Hollywood after stopping at the ATM during a break from isolation.
John wore a face mask, a black shirt, a pair of blue shorts, and blue sneakers. He finished his look with a gold watch and a pair of black wayfarers.
Chrissy and John have been sharing their quarantine stories with their children, 4-year-old Luna and 2-year-old Miles. But the All of Me singer is still busy with musical performances from the comfort of their home.
Last week, he performed on BET’s Saving Our Selves benefit for coronavirus relief. He also appeared on Global Citizen’s star-studded One World: Together At Home for a Stand By Me collaboration with Sam Smith.
The artist dropped his new track Bigger Love, which he described as a ‘celebration of love, resilience and hope.’
One internet user commented: “It doesn’t matter how much he gave it’s just that he gave at all.”
Another wrote: “How lucky for that photographer to be in the right place at the right time!…”
A third added: “Hey, Im not the biggest fan but good grief, I would NEVER criticize how little someone has given to a person in need.”
