Johnny Depp, has tried to overturn the ruling of his “wife beater” libel fight.
He has been accused of brutally assaulting Amber Heard, his ex-wife. He claims that his ruling was so “devastating” and “unfair,” breaching his human rights.
Regardless of his desperate attempts, it fell to pieces as senior judges rule that there is no chance of success. In the news of his ruling, there is less of a hope of reviving his thriving Hollywood career.
Ms. Heard’s spokesman had stated: “We are please, but by no means surprised, by the court’s denial of Mr. Depp’s application for appeal. The evidence presented in the case was overwhelming and undeniable,” stating that it was impossible for Mr. Depp’s ruling to be overturned based on such evidence.
Ms. Heard had been battered 12 times in one of the photo’s evidence, along with more injuries after Depp had headbutted into her. In a 2018 article written by The Sun, he sued them for titling him as a wife beater.
Mr. Justice Nicol refutes against his accusations of being innocent, that the title was “substantially true,” leaving Amber Heard in fear of her life.
His lawyers asked to consider the evidence, that Ms. Heard was lying about donating her divorce settlement to charity. This in hand, was another lie, for Lord Justices Underhill and Dingemans threw down the allegations since they were not tested and also: irrelevant.
With yesterday’s decision, The Sun said they were pleased, continuing to stand up and campaign for victims of domestic abuse such as Depp’s ex-wife.point 247 |
There is more evidence of the abuse over time, being manipulative as well in the relationship to one incident where Johnny Depp had severed his finger, writing “I love u” on their mirror afterwards.point 177 | 1
The evidence shows: Depp knocked her to the ground after making a joke (2013), Depp was raging while on drugs and hit her (2013), Depp attacked ex-wife and ripped her dress (2013), Depp screams at her on a private jet after taking drugs and drinking (2014), Depp grabs her by the hair and pushes her to the ground (2014), and so forth.
