Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce gets toxic after their son Maddox Pitt testified against the actor.
The 19-year-old has “already given testimony as (an) adult in the ongoing custody dispute, and it wasn’t very flattering towards Brad,” reports said.
One source added: “He doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie.”
“Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn’t support,” the insider continued.
Their 14-year-old daughter, Shiloh, has also removed her last name Pitt on her Instagram page.
This comes five years after an alleged run-in between Pitt and son Maddox was said to have been the last straw for the actress.
In 2016, the couple filed for divorce and it was revealed the social services and FBI were investigating Pitt.
The LA County Department of Children and Family Services later cleared Pitt of abuse allegations after it was confirmed that he hadn’t committed child abuse when he got into a heated argument with Maddox.
But this week, it was claimed that Jolie is now “prepared to provide proof of domestic abuse” that happened during their marriage.
Pitt and Jolie are also warring over financial arrangements and custody terms.
Documents from LA County Superior Court’s Stanley Mosk Courthouse show the judge is seeking the parents’ permission for Vivienne, Knox, and Shiloh to give their testimonies.
The couple have 12 properties, acquired both before and after their two years of marriage. They bought Chateau Miraval in France in 2012 and tied the knot in the estate two years later. The property includes a 35-room mansion, a private lake, and a moat.
Since their split, the actor has been linked to Nicole Poturalkski, a 27-year-old model, but they were said to have broken up last year.
