Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez recently got engaged but one former baseball star alleged that his ex-wife was cheating with A-Rod behind J.
Lo’s back.
On Sunday, Jose Canseco, 54, claimed that Rodriguez, 43, cheated on Lopez, 49, with his ex-wife Jessica Canesco (maiden name Sekely), who divorced Canseco in 1999.
The former Oakland A’s player, 54, took to Twitter on Sunday, March 10, to accuse the ex-New York Yankees third baseman, 43, of cheating on the Grammy nominee, 49, with Jose’s ex-wife, Jessica Canseco, to whom he was married from 1996 to 1999.
Canseco tweeted the cheating allegations on Sunday, writing, “Watching World of Dance watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is,”
“I was there a few months back with her when he called her on her phone.” “Alex Rodriguez stop being a piece of s–t stop cheating on Jennifer Lopez. Alex Rodriguez, I challenge you to a boxing match or an MMA match anytime you want.”
Leila Knight, Canseco’s former fiancée of nine years, told DailyMail.com exclusively that her ex’s allegations ‘are highly unlikely to be true, and even if it was true, he wouldn’t know about it.’
Canseco’s long-time ex-Knight was sceptical about the claims, telling DailyMail.com that Canseco’s Twitter shows a lack of credibility, in general.
‘’Jose will say whatever comes to his mind on a whim,’’ Knight said.
‘’I’m only commenting on this because it bothers me that he chooses at times to use his platform to bring people down in a moment of happiness.’’
Canseco and Jessica were married from 1996 to 1999.
In Jessica’s autobiography, however, titled ‘Juicy: Confessions of a Former Baseball Wife,’ she alleged Canseco was the cheater, as well as abusive, writing, ‘the guy is an a—–e, but the perks are good.’
Canseco was arrested and charged with battery for beating Jessica after they got into an argument while returning from their daughter’s birthday party in 1997.
Canseco was also accused of aggravated assault against his first wife Esther Haddad after he rammed her BMW with his Porsche. He received community service.
