Recently there has been hype around the world on how the ban on abortion is taking away the rights of women to choose for their own body.
While the issue turned into serious protests around the world, there are some people who are using their minds to make things better rather than worst for humanity.
Recently a federal judge decided to ban the 6 weeks limit on abortion because as per her, the law was taking away the right of women to be able to decide for themselves because of most of the women decided to get an abortion after 6 weeks which is too early in pregnancy.
The old law that has been blocked stated that abortion should be done before the fetus develops heartbeat, which happens around the 6th week.
Judge Carlton Reeves said that the bill of 6th-week pregnancy threatens the rights of women and forces them to make the early decision even when they are not ready to make one.
Most women take time to decide if they wish to keep the baby or not and generally seek abortion after 6weeks.
The new law that has been proposed has a limit of 15 weeks of pregnancy for abortion because that is enough time to make the decision.
She said “Doesn’t it makes a difference that 6weeks is too less and 15 weeks will be able to give enough time to the women to chose. This will not harm their personal dignity or their anatomy.”
The officials of the state defended the law saying it was passed in order to keep the medical professionals under regulations.
They said that the law also had a vision of having respect for life and keeping the baby after the heart starts beating because that is the first sign of life.
