A Greek rapist who went by the name of ‘the Beast of Kavos’ in the Greek resort island of Corfu had finally met his fate as he fell 100ft down from a cliff while running away from the local police.
The said rapist, Dimitris Aspiotis, 47 years old, infamous for preying on holiday-goers got fractures in the spinal area, as well as a hip and leg injury followed by a kidney rupture. He was subsequently arrested on the spot after the police got him unstuck from the ravine. They had been chasing him on charges of harassing and raping an Albanian woman starting earlier this month.
Aspiotis was last night in hospital under police guard in Corfu Town and he faces an immediate return to prison after breaching his parole conditions.point 443 |

Homeless Aspiotis was seized and sentenced to 52 years in prison for six counts of rape on six women, but was released back to the resort where he repeatedly pounced.point 256 |

The attacks came just six weeks after the dangerous rapist was released early after raping three other British woman between the years of 1997 and 2005 – although local authorities claim the real number is higher.
