The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco has cast her sister in her new television series HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant.
The 34-year-old actress who is also a producer is the second highest paid television actress in the US.
Kaley started her career as a supporting actress in film and television. She landed her breakthrough role as Bridget Hennessy on the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules, on which she starred from 2002 to 2005.
Briana, 31 appeared in the fifth season of The Voice in the United States back in 2013, has joined the upcoming HBO Max series as a regular role. She will play Cecilia, an ambitious assistant who is obsessed with organisation and eavesdropping on calls.
She has previously been seen on television in Mom, The Newsroom, The Mentalist, NCIS, Criminal Minds, and The Big Bang Theory.
Kaley will play flight attendant Cassandra Bowden who wakes in her hotel room hungover from the night before in Dubai with a dead body lying next to her. She gets afraid and doesn’t tell about the incident to the police and joins the other flight attendants and pilots travelling to the airport.
In New York, FBI agents question Cassandra about her recent layover in Dubai but she couldn’t remember anything and doubts if she is the killer.
The star-studded cast includes La La Land star Sonoya Mizuno, Glee’s Nolan Gerard Funk and Game Of Thrones’ Michiel Huisman. The series is based on the novel by New York Times best-selling author Chris Bohjalian.
Brians showed her excitement after the announcement of the cast of the show on Instagram and wrote, ‘Christmas came early.’
