Vice President Kamala Harris’s office has been rocked with new and surprising allegations revolving around how staffers are treated like trash.
Harris’ work environment was reportedly referred to as abusive while the Chief of Staff is getting accused of initiating the ‘blame culture’ too. The news has surprised so many people because President Joe Biden had initially declared how anyone that treated their colleagues in an unfair and poor manner would be fired.
But now, inside sources discussed with Politico how there is a very tense working environment that comprises of low trust and moral values, not to mention poor forms of communication in the Vice President’s office.
Moreover, some even went as far as mentioning how Kamala Harris must be blamed because it’s always the higher authorities that play a major role.
“Toxicity always begins from the top so Kamala Harris is to be blamed,” they explained. And just like that, the accusations have kept on rolling in. Chief of Staff Tina Flournoy was also blamed for ignoring ideas being put forward or meeting ideas with harsh dismissals while dragging out decisions too.
“It’s not uncommon to see people being thrown under the bus from the top. You’ll also find short fuses and the overall environment is pretty toxic and abusive,” explained another source.
In January, right after assuming his position as President of the US, Biden warned all of his appointees how there would be zero tolerance for those who mistreated others, as he threatened to fire all those involved in showing disrespect towards others.
For this reason, some reports claim that the Biden team is very concerned over the fresh array of allegations being brought forward from the vice president’s own office.
But just as the new wave of allegations came in, the chief spokesperson Kamala Harris, Symone Sanders, denied it all. Instead, he called all of the claims rubbish, while stating that those who made them were behaving like cowards.
