Two weeks after Kanye West announced his presidential bid, he broke down in tears as he shared the moment he stopped his wife from getting an abortion, saying he received a message from God telling him what to do.

During his speech in South Carolina, the rapper shared the story of his wife Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy.

It was on June 15, 2013, when Kim gave birth to their first child, North. She also shares sons Psalm, 1, and Saint, 4, and a daughter Chicago, 2, with the famous rapper.

“And let me go to Planned Parenthood,” the rapper started. “My girlfriend called me screaming, crying. I’m a rapper. And she said I’m pregnant. She was crying.”

West, who was in Paris at that time and was working on his laptop, said he was trying to think about what to do when he received a sign from God.

“My screen went black and white,” he recalled. “And God said, if you f*** with my vision I f*** with yours.

“And I called my girlfriend and said we’re going to have this child.

“Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to.”

The tearful rapper yelled to the crowd: “She had the pills in her hand. I almost killed my daughter!”

He became very emotional as he shared a story of his own childhood.

“My Mum saved my life. My Dad wanted to abort me,” he shared. “There would have been no Kanye West. Because my Dad was too busy.”

The rapper also discussed abortion and said he wanted women to receive money for having children.

“Abortion should be legal but the option of maximum increase should be available,” he added.  “Everybody who has a baby gets a million dollars or something.”
