The 42-year-old rapper was spotted wearing a baggy silver outfit and his face was painted with the same color.
He also wore matching silver socks at the event, which was held at Miami Marine Stadium on Sunday afternoon on the final day of Art Basel.
His performance, which also stars his “Sunday Service Collective,” was directed by Vanessa Beecroft. The show started an hour late because the boat was the only way to reach the stadium. For their performance, the choir was dressed in silver robes and silver face paint.
Performers showed 12 biblical scenes on the show and the programs were given to the audience to follow along. The programs included sketches, titles and some lyrics from the acts which showed Gabriel visiting Mary to Mary’s pregnancy to the birth of Jesus and the prophecy.
West’s hits including “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “Love Lockdown” was sung by the choir.
“Kanye narrated the whole performance, he appeared in full face paint and the silver robe,” Sam Baum, owner of the new disco club Minnie’s in Wynwood, Florida, tells PEOPLE.
After his performance, West and his team visited his friend Rich Wilkerson’s VOUS church in Wynwood. Wilkerson officiated Kim Kardashian and West’s wedding in 2014.
West and his choir performed more songs at the church, including Ye’s latest, “Jesus Walks.” This time, the singers were dressed in navy blue and black outfits. West wore sunglasses throughout. Wilkerson came on stage and hugged his friend.
Chance the Rapper and Miami’s power art couple Mera and Don Rubell were included in the audience list.
Kardashian West didn’t attend the event due to her busy schedule, but she did hit the Art Basel scene earlier in the week with her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.
West started hosting church-like Sunday Services in January. He also led one of his services during a Coachella performance in April.
