Many people dislike the morning commute.
Buses and trains are always filled with people, and it seems as though you’re always running late.
No matter how bad the commuting experience is, though, it’s good to be nice to one another.
Why? Because everyone’s in the same situation, and you never know what will happen.
Here’s one story that shows that karma really exists.
Matt works as the head of talent and recruiting at venture capital firm called Forward Partners in London.
And, like everyone else, Matt was on his way to work during morning rush hour.
When the train pulled into Monument station, Matt was about to get off, but he first stood to one side to let a passenger off. But, apparently this man thought Matt was standing in his way.

As Matt was getting off the tube, this man pushed past him and cursed at him.
Even though his start of the day was a bit ruined by the rude guy, Matt had forgotten about it – until hours later, when it was time to interview an applicant for a job.
When he walked into the room, Matt quickly realized that the man who is interviewing for the job is the very guy who had shoved him to the side on the Tube.
And he knew that the man also recognized Matt.
Matt stepped outside of the room briefly to write about this miraculous “reunion” on his Twitter account, which went viral online.
Everyone started commenting on his tweet, and wanted to know more about how the interview went.
After the interview was over, Matt returned and wrote about how it went.

He said, “It was totally awkward.”
During the interview, he tried to break the ice “by asking him if he’d had a good commute that morning. We laughed it off and in a very British way I somehow ended up apologizing.”
When others asked Matt if the applicant got the job, he said no.
“As it worked out, he wasn’t right for the role,” said Matt. But he also added that the rude encounter in the morning had nothing to do with the decision.

Matt’s experience should be a reminder to all of us: that what goes around, comes around.
