The lockdown period may not be the same for all as everyone is spending their times differently.

But there is one thing which is same and it is teaching your kids at home. Like other parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William are homeschooling their kids Prince George and Princess Charlotte along with taking care of Prince Louis.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are isolating at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, besides teaching their kids at home they keep entertaining them with fun activities.

In an interview with BBC Breakfast, the royal couple said they didn’t reveal to Charlotte and George that it was the Easter holidays. Speaking to host Tina Daheley, Kate said: “Don’t tell the children, we’ve actually kept it going through the holidays. I feel very mean.”

The 38-year-old future Queen has always been against the idea of homeschooling Prince George and Princess Charlotte. But now the circumstances have made her do it as ‘’she doesn’t have any choice,” a source told Us Weekly.

Kate and William both are nature lovers and they keep their kids away from iPads, computers or other electronics, and the Duchess has even set a time limit for them watching TV.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl told OK! Magazine, “The emphasis during this time will be on arts and crafts, painting and doing things that aren’t screen-orientated.

“Kate is usually very strict on screen time and keeps it to a minimum. They’ve got climbing frames, swings and a pond, and each of the children are in charge of their own little patch of the kitchen garden.”

She also revealed that Kate and William’s youngest son Louis is “happiest when exploring the grounds” of the family’s Norfolk home Anmer Hall.

Kate said that she is really impressed with the stamina of her kids. She told BBC Breakfast, ‘’The children have got such stamina I don’t know how. Honestly, you get to the end of the day and you write down the list of all the things that you’ve done in that day.’’

“So you pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day – they have had a lovely time – but it is amazing how much you can cram into one day that’s for sure.’’

The royals are following social-distancing like many of us and they also depend on video-calls to speak with their family members. Kate revealed that they contact their children’s grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton, as well as Prince Charles and Camilla regularly.

She told BBC: “I think your (Prince William’s) father and my parents and our families and things like that have really loved keeping in touch with the children because they know it’s really hard.”

Prince William jokingly said that grandparents are not as tech-savvy as the younger generation. “I think we’re getting there now, the family are getting a little bit more used to being able to contact each other and pressing the right buttons and not dropping the computer halfway through,” the Duke said.

Kate admitted that it is not only the older generation who is creating havoc as she has the same experience with their youngest son.

Kate said: “It gets a bit hectic, I’m not going to lie, with the two-year-old.”

William agreed to his wife saying: “For some reason, he sees the red button, and always wants to press the red button.”
