The Duke of Cambridge gave his youngest son Prince Louis a kiss on the cheek in a heartwarming photo taken by the Duchess of Cambridge.
The black and white snap was shared by Kate Middleton on Christmas Day.
It shows Prince William kissing their youngest child on the cheek, while Prince George and Princess Charlotte look at the camera.
Wills wears a cap as he holds Prince Louis in the snap. Prince George smiles at the camera as he sits next to them, and Princess Charlotte appears to be holding on to her baby brother as she stands behind him.
This isn’t the first time the Duchess of Cambridge has released her own photos.
Kate, one of the world’s most photographed people, was named as the new patron of the Royal Photographic Society.
She has previously been praised for her amazing photos of her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The Kensington Palace has also often published photos taken by the Duchess to mark milestones in her children’s lives, such as first days at nursery and birthdays.
The mother-of-three started the tradition in 2015 when she took the first official photos of Princess Charlotte instead of hiring a photographer.
According to a royal expert, The Cambridges are expected to make a huge announcement over the next weeks.
Royal commentator Omid Scobie said on ABC’s Heirpod podcast that the announcement would be a ‘break from tradition.’
“Expect royal announcements over the holidays, which I think is a slight break away from tradition,” Scobie said.
“There was a briefing at Kensington Palace just this week where they gave us a number of new announcements that will be coming out over the holiday period.”
Kate’s heartwarming post comes after Meghan Markle also shared a family Christmas card photo with baby Archie and husband Prince Harry.
The sweet snap shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex having fun behind their adorable son.
