The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out solo for an event supporting families in south London.
The 37-year-old donned a purple blouse by Gucci featuring a bow neck and black pants from Jigsaw as she visited the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre to see what support is offered to help parents, caregivers and children tackle difficulties they come up against.
She accessorized her look with a lilac Midi Mayfair bag by Aspinal of London and her Hope Egg earrings which have reemerged from her jewelry box for the first time in public since March 2012!
The Duchess took part in a session of ‘Together Time’, where parents can come with their children and learn from each other and childcare professionals.
She joined parents and their toddlers taking part in sessions offered by the local Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP) and Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS) in south London.
Kat sat on the ground to play with the children and chat with their parents.
Sharing stories with other parents, Kate revealed her 10-month-old son Louis has started to ‘bomb around’ in his walker.
She told one mother: ‘’Louis just wants to pull himself up all the time,’’
‘’He has got these little walkers and is bombing around in them.’’
The visit aimed to educate the Duchess about the support being offered to families with children who are four years old and younger through the Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP).
Support services include psychotherapy and speech and language assistance.
The outing comes just a few weeks after the Duchess revealed she was feeling ‘broody’ while speaking to well-wishers during a visit to Northern Ireland.
