All the schools and universities have been closed due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Parents are now homeschooling their kids and the Duchess of Cambridge is one of them.
The 38-year-old future Queen has always been against the idea of homeschooling Prince George and Princess Charlotte. But now the circumstances have made her do it as ‘’she doesn’t have any choice,” a source told Us Weekly.
“St Thomas’s school is closed due the COVID-19 pandemic and George and Charlotte are being taught online at Anmer Hall,” the insider told Us Weekly. “When it comes to running quality online education, St Thomas’s is up there with the best.”
Kate keeps her kids aways from iPads, computers or other electronics, and she even has set a time limit for them watching TV. George and Charlotte are now adjusting in their new routines as they easily get distracted.
“Being educated from home is a shock to the system for [them],” the source continued. “To begin with, they were easily distracted and wanted to play together instead of sitting at a computer, but Kate’s now got them into a routine. … [She] is mainly in charge of the home schooling and playtimes, but William is also very involved too.”
Prince William also helps to teach his children at home as he “teaches them lessons and organizes games.”
Last month, it was confirmed that George and Charlotte will be homeschooled during the pandemic. Thomas’s London Day Schools told US Weekly that they decided to teach students online from March 20.
A spokesperson for Thomas’s London Day Schools told US: “Due to the increasing numbers of children and staff being absent from school due to the Coronavirus situation, Thomas’s London Day Schools have decided to move to remote learning from Friday 20 March.point 222 |
