Katy Perry proudly showed her baby bump in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia as Orlando Bloom, her 43-year-old partner, shared a photo of his fiance in a classy multicolor dress.
He captioned the photo: “My baby’s blooming [sic].” The photo was posted just days after the couple made their pregnancy public.”
Arriving at the Melbourne Cricket ground, 35-year-old Katy proudly boasted her baby bump wearing a multi-color dress.
Katy was exactly looking like a mother-to-be. She was wearing an elegant frock with a whole lot of colors and a fitting that openly showed her growing baby bump.
Her blonde hair were done in a trendy bob style, and she was wearing eccentric earrings and strappy orange heels.
The singer of the iconic song Firework had a balanced makeup with well-defined eyebrows, fake lashes, light pink eye shadow, a little blush, and matte pink lipstick.
Katy revealed her baby bump at the end of the video shot last Thursday. The video was shot for her upcoming single Never Worn White.
“There’s a lot that’s happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively… to something you guys have been waiting for,” Katy said an hour after the debut of the video on Instagram.
In her short live video, Katy revealed that the father of her child is her fiancé Orlando Bloom, who has a nine-year-old son with Miranda Kerr, her ex and a supermodel.
Katy is expecting to have the baby sometime in the summer.
When asked about her feelings on becoming a mom, Katy said that she is happy, excited and overwhelmed.
She said: “I’m excited, we’re excited, and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.”
Katy and Orlando were first witnessed together in January 2016 when they were flirting at the Golden Globe Awards. After a few months in May, they made their relationship public during the Cannes Film Festival.
Talking of the ups and downs of her relationship with Orlando, Katy said: “I have consciously or unconsciously picked a partner that makes sure I keep evolving into the best version of myself.”
“It’s just one of those relationships. I don’t know about anyone else who’s listening what kind of relationships they’ve had – and I’ve had many – but it’s like we basically, we get down to the matt and come back up every time,” the singer added.
Katy is currently in Melbourne to attend the final of ICC Women’s World Cup 2020. Following that, she is to perform at a free concert in support of the communities affected by the devastating Australian bushfire.
“As a native Southern Californian, I know firsthand the devastation of wildfire across my home communities, and was particularly (heartbroken emoji) by the Australian bushfires,” Katy said in a post on Instagram.
“Australia has always given me so much love and support so FIGHT ON is one way to return that love, and help provide a little bit of joy to a country that’s given me so much joy,” she added.
According to the Tourism Minister of Australia Martin Pakula, the free show is exactly the boost the region needs to recover from the damage dealt by the fires.
“It will be incredibly exciting for many people who have had a really tough summer, and it recognizes the outstanding efforts of our emergency services,” the minister said in a statement.
