New leader of the Labour party Sir Keir Starmer is not sincere in his ‘clap for our carers’ at 8pm, which is a weekly event in the UK to commemorate and give the spirit of solidarity to the NHS workers.
He had taken his new post and have appeared on live Sky News Broadcast but stopped midway, and they were captured in the camera, he and his wife, both looking stupendously still for the one minute clap.
And the Brits on Twitter were infuriated, saying that he was enjoying his ‘photo opportunity’.
They were also quick to define the matter a ‘PR nightmare’. A user said: ‘Keir Starmer saying “have you got what you need” to the cameraman at the end of the minute clap… lol says a lot.’ Another said: ‘Ha.
Keir Starmer “clapping”, turns to reporter “have you got what you need?” Then stops. Forgetting camera is still on him. Smarmy b*****d obviously just clapping for the cameras. Either do it or don’t (I don’t anymore) but don’t f***king pretend.
’
But the cameraman had something else to say. ‘I’m that cameraman he was talking to – he asked me as a way to clear the path to bring his daughter over from across the road,’ he wrote.
Sir Keir ‘s clapping misgiving comes after he himself has suggested that the lockdown must stay in place until UK testing capacity is much higher and the number goes down below 100,000 again.
Dominic Raab has also clarified he and his department’s stance that the quarantien restrictions will be instated and remain in the status quo for three more weeks. However he was quick to acknowledge that there should be some ‘milestones’ which will be a telltale sign of the lessening threat of the contagious disease.
Boris Johnson also told his Cabinet ministers that the government will head on, but only at ‘maximum caution’. The extra careful cautions were realized this week after the government has declared that this bank holiday, there would be no sunbathing for the Britons, due to higher temperatures.
If there are to be any signs of lockdown easing, there would be an all-go sign for outdoor activities. Johnson is set to meet with his people on Sunday with exit plans and changes.
