One of the things many of us take for granted is knowing that we will never go to sleep hungry, but not everyone is as fortunate.
Even if you’re not the most well planned, you know that you could get some fast food on the drive home or cook something up real quick and feed yourself.
However for far too many across the country they don’t know when they will next eat and if it will even be edible. There are so many incredible organizations both big and small that make sure that the homeless are given free, healthy meals, showers, a warm place to sleep and above all the respect and kindness that so many of them need. However these shelters are usually underfunded and are always in need of food.

One local KFC franchise is giving away the chicken that they would normally throw away to the London Ace of Spades shelter.point 102 | The chicken is still very edible, but the chicken doesn’t live up to KFC’s golden standard for chicken.point 202 |
