Mayweather is a boxing legend with his unbeatable record of 50-0.
He has never lost a single fight and now that he is a veteran, he is already termed as a legend.
While he is a veteran and is older than most of the fighters right now, Khabib Nurmagomedov says he Mayweather is his father’s age and he respects the legendry man.
He then added that if he would get into an 11 round fight with Mayweather, he will not be able to take Khabib down.
When media questioned Khabib about what he commented he said “I just wish to be open with the media. And on the top of media too.
I just saw it was Mayweather’s birthdays and he turned 49 perhaps and this is old for boxing. I believe he is a terrific boxer and a legend in every possible way but I am sure he cannot knock me out.”
He added “but this is not going to be fair to either me or him. I am a boxer and he is one too. But he is a man of high respect and he is my father’s age. I cannot punch him in the face or anywhere in his body as a matter of fact.”
“I am a professional boxer and I would love to have a match with him in the boxing ring as a real boxer but not as an MMA fighter because that will not be fair.
Just like my father suggests, we can have an 11 round long match of boxing with only one round of MMA.”
“Let’s do this. 11 rounds of boxing for 3 minutes each and the 12th round for MMA. Only if he is agreed to get into a fight.”
Oh, this is going to be an incredible fight if it happens.
