Working moms, don’t worry, your kids are going to be happy adults
Since a very long time or maybe an eternity, there has been a myth that kids with working mothers have to suffer a lot and that makes them sad.
Because of the myth, there are thousands of mothers out there who are working and have to face this question each day. They are sick of it and so are we. That is why we decided to take up the question and to check how true it even is.
Found out, this is not true at all. Yes, this might shock you up but the kids that grow up to be an adult with working mothers are just as happy as other adults who had their mothers at home all the time to be with them and to shower all the love.
Yes, a working mother may feel left out at times when they are not able to spend enough time with their kids but this does not mean that the child will be unhappy.
Harvard Business School’s Professor Kathleen McGinn carried out a study where he found out that the working mothers have no negative effect on either of their kids, be it a boy or a girl. They just become as happy adults as others are.
The research work for the same started back in 2015 and since then it has been going on and on. After taking data of 100,000 people from 29 countries. The results show that the kids of working mothers are not at all deprived of any love but they are better in many other aspects as compared to other adults.
The result shows that the daughters of the working mother are career oriented and are generally on the higher positions. They raise their kids while they are working.
And the sons of working mothers are more inclined towards caring for their families. Men are already career oriented in every term but the result shows that they are spending more time with their wife and kids.
