Kim Kardashian and her family have been left ‘shocked beyond words’ after Kanye West revealed that he and his wife came close to aborting their child.
The rapper mentioned the abortion story during his campaign in South Carolina, telling the public that they had considered aborting their first child before he received a ‘message from God.’
Family and friends close to the rapper have been left upset as they feel he is just becoming a ‘distraction to what is a very important election.’
An insider told People magazine: “Kim is shocked that Kanye spoke about North at the rally. She is furious that he shared something so private.”
Another source also said that the couple’s relationship has been ‘suffering’ because of his recent behavior.
The source told Entertainment Tonight: “Kanye isn’t in a good place and isn’t listening to anyone trying to talk him into getting help. Kim is upset with Kanye for his rants yesterday, especially talking about the possibility of having an abortion and not giving birth to North.
“She knows this is something North will see when she gets older and that’s heartbreaking.”
The rapper’s unscripted speech has since left Kim and her family alarmed and upset.
“My girlfriend called me screaming, crying. I’m a rapper. And she said I’m pregnant. She was crying,” Kanye revealed during his speech.
“My (laptop) screen went black and white. And God said, if you f*** with my vision I f*** with yours. And I called my girlfriend and said we’re going to have this child.
“We talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand! I almost killed my daughter!
“Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to.”
