The Supreme Leader of the dictatorship that is the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), otherwise known as North Korea, Kim Jong Un wss speculated as either dead or comparatively of a very ill state.
As it turns out, the North Korean leader has defeated all doubts that hung over the world and the global spectators for the last 20 days and has made himself available for the May Day celebration, something that is considered beyond just a national holiday for the totalitarian Juche-Socialist state. This is the first public appearance after 20 days of disappearance, and something that CNN made headline out of as him being dead or in a state near coma.
According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
Kim has supposedly said this while visiting a newly-opened fertilizer plant on the first day of May:”When the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant goes into operation, it will represent a historical development in our country’s fertilizer industry, it will be a glorious revolution and a splendid display of our nation’s great economic potential, and it will be an uplifting banner that assures us of the achievements of our country’s general economic frontline,” The report also made sure that Kim “expressed satisfaction about the wonderful creation” and was “repeatedly stressing that talents are a great source and a motive power of the development of the country.”
The North Korean Central Television telecast some clips of his appearance, intended solely for the purpose that the Great People’s Leader of the northern part of the Korean peninsula was walking, sitting, smoking and laughing all the time throughout the procedure.
He even was seen being driven in a golf buggy, with no single one of his cohorts wearing a surgical mask or any of those PPE.
His security wore a black mask on each one of their faces. His sister, Kim Yo Jong, projected to be his most potential successor if things were to go awry, was seen trailing along behind him.
He was previously seen missing out on Kim Il Sung’s birthday, North Korea’s biggest holiday, on April 15, and had since drawn possible speculation from independent experts and estranged information sources that he might be dead. Mass media reports have claimed independent sources that he might be dead, but the South Korean government soon released a statement on the same day, saying that they have acquired zero intelligence that might be the actual case.
US President Donald Trump refused comment on the North Korean leader, except for this short disclaimer: “I’d rather not comment on it yet, Kim Jong Un. We’ll have something to say about it at the appropriate time,”
