Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West have just welcomed a new addition to their family.
Taking to social media, Kim revealed the happy news about the birth of their fourth child via surrogate on Friday morning.
The 38-year-old tweeted: ‘He’s here and he’s perfect.’
After a few minutes, she added: ‘He’s also Chicago’s twin lol I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her.’
Weighing in at 6 lbs, 9 ozs, the baby boy was born on Thursday, TMZ reported.
It comes after Kourtney – Kim’s 40-year-old sister – surprised mom Kris Jenner at The Ellen Show on Thursday by revealing the surrogate was in labor.
Earlier this year, Kim broke the news that they’re expecting fourth child via surrogate while she was on Watch What Happens Live.
The reality star also confessed how she spilled the beans at their star-studded Christmas Eve party because she had drunk too much.
‘I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party and told some people,’ Kim told Andy Cohen. ‘I can’t remember who I told because I never get drunk.’
Kim and Kanye are already parents to daughter North, five, son Saint, three, and daughter Chicago, 15 months.
The 38-year-old gave natural birth to North and Saint, while Chicago was born via surrogate in January last year.
Kim was warned by doctors not to carry a baby again after she battled with life-threatening ‘placenta accreta’ during her pregnancies.
‘If the two doctors that I trust have told me it wouldn’t be safe for me to get pregnant again, I have to listen to that,’ she said during a November 2016 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Last month, Kim clearly stated on the reality show that she wanted to expand her family.
She said: ‘I’d love nothing more than to expand my family and just know that I have this world at home that’s safe.
‘And if for some reason I left this earth sooner than I really wanted to, then my kids would have a support system at home — so that I know that they would be okay if I wasn’t here.’
She later added: ‘I can’t carry anymore kids… it’s the worst. I give up.’
Speaking about surrogacy, Kim said: ‘Kanye was really nervous about the surgery… but I know he would want to have more kids.
‘I feel like surrogacy is the only option for me. Kanye and I are going to look into other options and see what we are comfortable with … but I’m definitely leaning towards [surrogacy].
‘I always knew surrogacy was an option – now it’s my reality. Whatever is meant to be will be.’
Kim, who found pregnancy ‘the worst experience of her life,’ previously revealed that her best friend Chrissy Teigen and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney had offered to carry her child due to her health concerns.
