Kim Kardashian has opened up about her recent career failure as she revealed she had failed to pass the baby bar exam.
Despite alleging that she had been studying for “10 to 12 hours straight” for six weeks, the KUWTK star failed to pass California’s baby bar exam.
The California Baby Bar, which was introduced on top of the state’s bar exam, consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and four essay questions.
In order to be able to continue with her studies, Kim needed to pass the test within three consecutive attempts.
After failing the baby bar for the first time, the 40-year-old reality TV star expressed her worries and revealed she felt insecure about retaking the exam. She also called herself a failure for not passing the test despite investing so much time into her studies.
“If you do law school the way that I’m doing it, it’s a four year program instead of your typical three year program and after year one, you have to take the baby bar,” Kim said in a Keeping Up With The Kardashians teaser before saying that “this one is actually harder here than the official bar.”
In the bombshell teaser, Kim also talked to attorney Jessica Jackson, her mentor, who reassured the businesswoman after she had expressed her doubts in herself.
“You needed a 560, you got a 474. That’s extremely close on a test that most people are not taking in the middle of a pandemic,” Jackson told Kim to which the 40-year-old responded by saying: “I am a failure.”
“I spent six weeks straight, 10 to 12 hours straight studying and it was so important for me to take this and to not pass gets your spirit down and just makes you want to give up,” she added.
Later on, the KUWTK star sat down with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney who expressed their support for the model and said their father would be proud of her.
Though she had failed the exam last year, Kim earlier this year revealed that she’s still actively pursuing her dreams and that she now only has two years left before she gets the chance to take the bar exam and become a lawyer.
“I’m still in law school, I have two years left. So I have two years under my belt. I actually am not doing an essay and doing this interview instead, so I’m gonna have to get up really early tomorrow to write like a two-hour essay. So that is really steady and a lot of work,” she told Good Morning Vogue.
